magei had her christmas (i mean WINTER) program tonight. it was so funny!! she was front and center stage…the star of the show! okay, i’m sure every parent thinks their kid is the star of the show, but really…she did an awesome job! everything went pretty well except for the two boys wrestling on the ground during one of the numbers. sam even had fun. he kept waving at magei from the audience and had a blast clapping at the end of each number.

we’ve been getting a little taste of winter weather here in ohio.  magei loves to play in the snow!  we went to the store to find a sled, but didn’t see any.  isn’t that weird?  magei and nate improvised with the snow shovel…which i thought was a pretty original idea until i was watching “it’s a wonderful life” on friday and realized jimmy stewart had the same idea.

We’re excited for Grandpa Farley to get his service project Christmas present this year. Nicki was at the helm and got all the troops organized. Since it’s still a secret project, I can’t post any other pictures but this one of Sam…he was a big helper this year!

We had a Christmas party last weekend with all of our friends.  Part of it was an ugly sweater contest…Nate made his sweater.   The lights went from side to side and had 8 different settings.

For some reason we didn’t get many pictures of Thanksgiving this year. But here’s Magei, the star of the show…

2. How long have you been together? 5 years on january 4.
3.How long dated? we got engaged after 6 weeks, and then got married 6 weeks after that.
4. How old is your man? 29 in january.
5. Who eats more? he does.
6. Who said “I Love You” first? i can’t remember, but i’m assuming he did.
7. Who is taller? without shoes, he is.  if i put my flip-flops on, i am.
8. Who sings better? i’ll go with nate on this one…i can read music better, but his voice is nicer.
9. Who is smarter? depends on the subject.  he wins in math and science and i win in english and history.
10. Who’s temper is worse? mine.  nate never gets mad.
11. Who does the laundry? i do.  he’s not allowed…plus, he forgot how once we got married.
12. Who does the dishes? we both do.
13. Who pays the bills? i handle all the money matters.
14. Who is better with the computer? nate.
15. Who mows the lawn? we both do.
16. Who cooks dinner? we both do.
17. Who drives when you are together? mostly nate, but i always add my two cents!
18. Who pays when you go out? whoever isn’t busy cleaning up the kids.
19. Who is most stubborn? me for sure.
20. Who is the first to admit when they’re wrong? nate.
21. Who’s parents do you see the most? it’s a toss up.  we don’t see either set as much as we’d like.
22. Who kissed who first? i think it was mutual.
23.Who asked who out? nate asked me out.
24. Who proposed? nate did.
25. Who is more sensitive? nate.
26. Who has more friends? equal.
27. Who has more siblings? nate has 7, i have 3.
28. Who wears the pants in the family? lets just say i care more about a lot of things that don’t matter one way or the other to nate.  when it is something important, we make decisions together.
29.How did you meet? i sat next to nate in church and told him he had a nice voice.

I think it is becoming a Farley Family tradition to go to a Christmas concert now.  Last year we saw Mannheim Steamroller and this year we got to go to the Columbus Symphony Orchestra’s Christmas concert.  It was awesome!  Magei loved it.  She sang along to some of the songs and Santa Claus came out at the end.  She’s now obsessed with the 12 Days of Christmas…too bad I can’t remember all the words.  We also ate at The Fish Market beforehand, which is one of my favorite restaurants here.
