Little kids fall asleep in the funniest places when you cut out their naps.  Sam gets so exhausted in the late afternoon!

I shouldn’t underestimate Sam’s resourcefulness.  I came out to the kitchen one morning to find that he had taken all the packs of diapers out of the big Sam’s Club box and stacked them on top of eachother to try and reach the Gold Fish.

I have been meaning to post these pictures for a while now, but sickness has struck our house and I haven’t had time to do anything but loads and loads of laundry.  Jeff Corwin has been a long-time love of mine (and my sister).  He’s pretty much sandwiched right in between Harry Connick Jr. and Josh Groban.  He came to town as part of a presidental lecture series associated with the university and I grabbed tickets for the four of us.  It was such a fun night and Jeff did not dissapoint!!  We were not allowed to use our flash during the lecture, so unfortunately our pictures are terribly dark and blurry.  Nate and I had a blast and thanks to all the animals he brought, the kids stayed interested the whole time.  No one even complained when I made them stand in the incredibly long line to get my book signed.  Very awesome.

It’s weird to look at these photos now since it was a bright, sunny day and we are all wearing short sleeves.  It’s quickly turning cold.  It seems to do that in just a matter of days here.  But - Fall Fest was fun.  There was plenty for the kids to do.  Once again, I have to say the Columbus Zoo is totally awesome.

We went camping at Alum Creek with our church a few weeks ago.  Our tent has been missing us for the past few years, so it was nice to dust if off and put it to some use.
