It’s Been A While…

…so, how’s everyone doing?!  I’ve been on a little blogging hiatus; thoroughly enjoying reading everyone else’s  goings on, but not blogging a bit about my own.  What have we been up to, you ask?  Here:

Nate (attempted to?) grew a beard/mustache thingy for no real reason other than some other fellow residents said, “Let’s all grow beards!”  This thing was around much longer than I would have liked.

We got about a million inches of snow.  Which means I have shoveled about a million inches of snow.  Sam is in heaven.  I am sick of walking to/from the bus stop everyday in sorels.  The snow is still here, but I’m hoping the bulk of it is gone by next week.

Super Bowl party with friends…Go Colts! (I know…they lost.  But Go Colts anyway.)

Now, there’s plenty more that we’ve been up to, but nothing that I took pictures of.  I’ve got lots of little projects going on, we (as in Magei and me) are working on potty training Sam, and Nate’s had school stuff occupying his time.  Speaking of Nate, he’s a little super star, as he just found out last week in Chicago.  But, that warrents its own post, so more to come on that later.  Up next: Magei turns 6!  Stay tuned.

All I can say about Nate is “arrrrrrgh!” (if you don’t get that, I think he looked like a pirate, he has since shaved it right?!)

Yea–thanks for the update! Can’t wait for Nate’s super star news. Hope your trip to Idaho was great.

I love the low key birthdays, that’s how we do them around here. Reminds me of the times that our families celebrated together though. Your kids really are so cute! It’s nice to keep up with you via the blog since we are so far away. Maybe next time we visit Paul’s family in Cincinnati, we can catch up in real life.

Jon has been sporting a “man scarf” for months now. I wasn’t sold on it at first, but I tell you what!! I think he is total fox with a scruffy beard. Magei is just what I imagine you looked like as a little person. What a doll!
