Magei Turns 6
Again with the low key birthdays. It’s becoming a Farly tradition. Magei requested a surprise birthday party this year. We celebrated a day early…that was the surprise. Anyone want to nominate me for Mother of the Year?!
Magei requested Happy Meals from McDonald’s for dinner.
Magei wanted to dress up for her party (which btw only included me, Nate, and Sam). She asked me to help her look her best. Then she asked me if I could look my best. (Apparently I was not looking my best!) So, she went into my closet and picked out a matching purple dress for me to wear. I made this dress for Magei to wear when the weather is warmer, but I suppose there’s nothing wrong with thinking spring in February.
We sang plenty of Happy Birthday songs…she was delighted!
We opened presents, ate cake and played wii. Magei has been in love with My Little Ponies lately, so that was the majority of the presents. Sam was just itching to jump in her lap and steal them all, but he controlled himself nicely.

Happy Birthday Mags!
BTW, how do you feel about the way My Little Ponies look now? I think they look ridiculous. Of course, Marisa still loves them, but they look more like dogs than horses if you ask me. And a good majority of them have designs all over their bodies. What happened?
Love those low key birthdays.
The dress turned out super cute.

Laura, I think your low key is my… high key? But that’s just because I’m lame. I have learned a thing or two from you- a theme makes everything more fun! Love both your lavender dresses. I can’t believe Magei is 6, she looks so grown up and just beautiful.

Why am I in LOVE with EVERYTHING you do? Your low key party looks AWESOME! Maybe it’s just the decorations you make… LOVE the cupcakes, that frosting looks so cool, the wrapped presents, how did you write her name on those hearts? so cute!!! You seriously could be a party planner! Love the dresses, yours is adorable, (love the earrings!) When did you get a piano? Is that downstairs in your house? I don’t recognize it and that makes me realize it’s been too long! boo-hoo.

Happy Birthday, Magei!! Looks like a great party to me. Love the matching dresses.
I seriously need to come over and see all your projects–I’m going to attempt a skirt for Mierae soon. We’ll see how different it is from quilting!
